Summary

This is one of the projects that have a low cost, high impact nature to it. It's also one of the projects that I worked closely with our behavioral scientist to come up with a nudging responsibly framework. We built this feature that put drivers back in control and instead of pressuring them to drive when they are tired or don't want to. We turned off this feature by default (even at risk of lower exposure for the function) and aware that nudging them to drive longer isn't always a sustainable strategy. As a designer, I am involved from inception all the way to designing and testing with real drivers and then launched them on our targeted markets. We did our usability test for this feature with drivers in their own cars, so we can learn and capture findings within the context and environment our users are in.
